I am a 21 year-old Chinese-American, born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam, I aspire to become a professional flautist and to share my love of music with the world.
Throughout most of my life, I have been involved musically in both academic study as well as extracurricular activities. I am currently in my sixth semester in college, studying music theory, music history, and taking private flute lessons. I am also involved in the University of Guam Jazz Band, University of Guam Singers, and Guam Symphony Orchestra.
Throughout these few precious years in college, I’ve not only grown more familiar with my primary instrument but have also been introduced to other instruments as well, including tenor saxophone and auxiliary percussion, and have had the opportunity to exercise my vocal chords in the choral alto range, improving both my eartraining and sightsinging skills.
There are several links above the page which lead my resume, contact information, my performance schedule, as well as downloadable recordings of some of the works that serve to mark the progress of my musical growth.
Please feel free to browse around. =)
